Where to input referral code?

New client here: When (at which step) can I input the referral code given to me by a friend?
I have not activated my sim card yet.
More specifically: Where on this site is mentioned this info? Probably it is just me, unable to see it... but it is already frustrating to see this infamous referral bonus paraded everywhere, but no extra details on When/ Where/ How to use it

You need to use during the activation, where the taxes are shown. Check the image

Frustration is still there as here is an official answer I found meanwhile (so not community members’):

Q: I just subscribed to Fizz, but forgot to enter my friends’ referral code.
A: Unfortunately, we don’t allow referred friends to retroactively apply a referral code. If you didn’t apply your friend’s referral code when you signed up, you’re out of luck.

Fizz’ answer says clearly referral code must be applied as early as the SignUp step. This is in contradiction with all the advices on the Community Hub.
The problem is that upon signing-up, I was NOT asked any Referral code!
I even created (1 hour ago) a dummy account (My name is Fizz Fizzbit, but the email address I provided is real). Guess what… My account was set up immediately, even before receiving the confirmation email.
I clicked on the ‘Confirm my email link’ and got the "Your account has been activated" notice. Never ever, a Referral Code popped up!!!!!

When I ordered a SIM card for my daughter, I put my referral code (6A6FL). Then, when I came to activate her plan, my referral code was already there!
However, I think it is MANDATORY to enter it when you activate the plan / SIM, but not mandatory when you order the SIM.
And if you do not enter it, Fizz cannot retroactively give the referral credit.

It might have changed since I first signed up, but it was definitely before pressing submit at the initial SIM card order

Just before you finalise your plan...they’re is a place where you may enter your referred code.
