Technician is coming today to install internet, anything that I should beforehand?

Hello,
As the title states, today I have my home internet installation appointment and I live in a building that doesn’t have intercoms and requires a fob/key to get into the building.
Is the technician going to call me? What’s the protocol about this? I really don’t want to “miss” this appointment.
