What happens if I live in Toronto for a few months?
I understand I cannot primarily use Fizz partner networks primarily for three consecutive payment cycles. Will this pose a problem?

Fizz will stop your plan, read this
The expanded coverage zone is for our mobile members who travel in specific regions not covered by the Fizz network (Subscription area). It is intended for occasional coverage, and applies to Quebec, Canada and USA.
The majority of your usage (calls, texts and data) must be done on the Fizz network (Subscription area).
We reserve the right to block access to all of your Fizz mobile services if your mobile services are used primarily on partner networks (Fizz EXT) for 3 consecutive payment cycles.
Use our coverage map to check that you are using your phone in a zone covered by the Fizz network:
Visit our network coverage map to check the subscription area.
(On the coverage map the subscription area is Fizz network, the coverage area is patner networks)Check the name of the network indicated on your phone. If 'Fizz EXT' or if it does not say Fizz, you are on one of our partner networks and your usage will be considered extended coverage. You can adjust your phone’s settings to limit this usage by deactivating roaming on our partner networks.
If you do not have the choice and you are geographically obliged to use the majority of your usage on our partner networks beyond the tolerated limits, we advise you to subscribe with the service provider who offers coverage in this area.

In theory you should be ok as you'll be back in Montreal for 1 or 2 weeks ( if you'll be back before the 12 Weeks consecutive )13

If you have a Fizz mobile plan with Quebec coverage, then you'll be okay as long as you purchase a travel add-on for usage while you are in Toronto.
If you have Canada and/or USA coverage, then you can confirm with Fizz support whether your service will continue or be problematic. I believe Fizz should take into consideration how long you have been a mobile customer, which plan you have, and how much of your mobile services you plan to use while in Toronto.

Bryden,
There is a risk that Fizz will stop your plan because of the rule of using during more than 3 months more than 50% using partners's zone network.
I have a question, Have you Quebec coverage in your plan? If yes, you have simply purchase a travel add-on for usage while you are in Toronto. It can solve your problem.11 -
Talk to Fizz and see what they can offer for alternatives. You might have to transfer you phone number to another provider for a few months, then come back to Fizz again. You might lose the price/plan you had though.9

If you have quebec coverage in your plan.Add a travel option.9

As others have mentioned, the 3 month limit will be your biggest challenge. If you are careful, you can try to turn off cellular data on your phone and do all of your calls, data, and text on wifi and you might be able to pull off keeping your account active and in good standing that way.10
