Tip: how to get free voicemail?
Instead of paying 2$ for voicemail, I used this older post to get voicemail for free:

Note that I used ALL three of these functions:
* Forwarding when the line is busy (**67*dial number#)
* Forwarding when a call is unanswered (**61*dial number#)
* Subscriber not available (**62*dial number#)

You of course need to create a Fongo account and have a phone number in same city as you to avoid long distance fees...10

The beauty is that you get an email with your actual voicemail message in MP3 format.10

I do not understand, do you have a free voicemail in your account? If yes it is strange
It seems that you do not have enough points to get this rewards, therefore, you cannot have it.
First you need to have the freevoice mail in your rewards
Apply it, to a free slot
wait the next billing cycle for the activation10 -
Ok, now I got it
You want to use the voicemail from fongo, therefore, transfert to fongo10 -
yes, you can transfer calls to your fongo number (i.e. when no answer or busy) and it is not necessary to be within the same city, unless if you have Quebec only coverage, then it should be in QC. I have fizz voicemail, and I use fongo for business with app (it is convenience, you just press "play" for voicemail).
so yes, you can save on voicemail with fongo and fizz call forwarding.

Thank you @sasadrine
I did not think about this one.
I love this kind of workarounds
Very nice solution to save money8 -
These suggestions will work with all carriers who offer unlimited calling and call forwarding.
It works particularly well with Fizz because they offer low monthly rates and chose to charge for the voicemail option.
Thanks for posting and sharing the original post.

Yes, I use fongo.you can transfer calls to your fonger number.
It's very useful to use and free.8 -
I also use Fongo, but less now since I have Canada wide calling. It is handy when abroad, as you can send and receive calls on your phone if connected to wifi and therefore do not need to buy an add-on.7
