To keep your phone number at a new provider, first and foremost, DO NOT cancel your current Fizz service — only active phone numbers can be transferred to a new provider.
The process is simple: tell your new provider that you intend to keep your number. Your new provider will contact Fizz to disable your Fizz plan. The cancellation will only come into effect after your new provider has retrieved your phone number.
Your new provider will ask you to identify your Fizz plan to confirm your number transfer. Before you call your new provider, have the following information handy:
-
Your Fizz account number: To find your account number, go to My Plan, then go in Manage. Beneath your telephone number you’ll see your 8 digits account ID starting by 22.
OR
-
The IMEI number for the last phone you used with your Fizz plan: This is your phone’s identity card; it also
allows us to identify your plan. Your IMEI number can be found by dialing *#06# in your phone’s keypad.
If needed, chat with Fizz customer support for more details.

This is weird. You are supposed to be able to transfer your number, it is your number. Fizz gave you the exact procedure from Fizz website https://fizz.ca/en/faq/unsubscribe.
Did Bell gave you more information why they are having problem transfering ? Your Fizz account is not frozen or on hold?

@fizzy @gswim I need to Port my personal fizz number to corporate Bell number. However on knowing the current carrier - Fizz, Bell has responded that porting may not be possible. My employer now asked me to find the reason and update Bell. It's a tricky situation, as I cannot initiate on my own to move to a corporate number.17

in such case, you might need to port it to bell personal number, prepaid or whatever, and then they will take care to upgrade it to corporate. you might need to confirm that they can switch personal to corporate plan at Bell. they might be some restrictions as to what numbers can be corporate numbers or something else.18

Submit a complaint to the CRTC about Bell.17

kk may have a reasonable alternative by porting your number to prepaid service of Bell, then port it again to the corporate division. CRTC after that if they refuse. See if you can find out why first though, but hearing of what other people having issues with Bell customer service, that might be quite a fishing expedition. Good luck.18

Corporate plans can be tricky to get into or out of.
Try porting to one of their subbrands first; like Bell personal, Virgin or Lucky.
Consult with Bell if you want confirm.

I had a terrible experience too. I tried to transfer to Bell as well they couldn't so I went to videotron and took forever to transfer it. Now my number is fully transferred to Videotron but still show active in my account saying changes pending. So sad I can't remove my credit card or unsubscribe it won't allow me. And now their chat bubble is via Facebook which I don't use Facebook. Fizz is getting worst by the day.6
