I’m very picky with the modem and router. I was wondering is Fizz allows customers to use their own modem and router combinations instead of theirs.
In short, Can I used my own modem and router?
Thanks,

I’m not sure about the modem, you might have to use the one Fizz provide. For the router, however, you can use your own. The steps are described here :

Joshua,
You can use your own router. You must put the Fizz modem on bridge and use your own router.
Me, I have chosen to use the modem of Fizz (mix of router and modem, 2 in one). The Fizz application is goodto install on your phone. I'm very satisfied with this modem. The only thing; I have desactivated the band steering. (automatic preference network, 2.4 g or 5.1 g).

Yes you can use your own router, but I must say I tried the built-in router on the Fizz modem and it's working great so far concerning speed, stability and range!5

Hey Joshua,
Unfortunately you cannot use your own modem, but they do provide a DOCSIS 3.1 modem/router for free. Your can definitely use your own router, just put the provided modem into bridge mode.
