I activated my sim card on 17th of aug2019. Will my price plan stay the same or it will be change even if i do not change my current plan?

Yes it was suppose to change in 2020, however, the change the price a week ago, therefore, probably you will not see any change.

if this is higher that you have now, this will be your price in sometime in 2020.
If this is equal or lower, this will be the new price at your next renewal.

Fizz is supposed to change their price's plan at the beginning of the next year.
Check the actual price on their web site. Some of their plans has been reduced, recently.

i activated in July and got an email that the price will change in January 2020.
Hopefully it will remain low or lower than the regular prices

As others have mentioned, Fizz said early 2020. The price decrease that I and others received emails about last/this week only apply to new customers (not those on introductory/stabilization plans) and can be seen now on their plan website. One would hope that the price for older subscribers will remain below what a new customer would pay and not simply match their rate come 2020.

It is anybody's guess at this point. Fizz leaves themselves open for the option. Market conditions and how much attrition they are willing to tolerate will dictate whether they will want to increase the price for the stabilization period pricing plans.
