Wrong phone number dhiwed for outgoing MMS ?

I had a 343-xxxxxxx number last year, and I cancelled this sim card in summer. I reactivated it in October to keep the stabilization price with different 613-xxxxxxx number. Call/text/data all works as expected, except my phone still recognize this sim as old 343 number. Yesterday I sent a few MMS with photo to different people who use non-fizz cell. Both told me the MMS messages care from either 438 or 418 area code, not my 613. Anybody faced this before?only MMS, regular text without picture works fine

Did you try to reset the phone?
I reactivate a SIM and I did not had that problem.
On my opinion you will not get your stabilization period

What will happen to the price of my mobile plan if prices change?

But to thank you for your patience and collaboration, you get to keep the price you are paying now until early 2020. You will be notified of the switch to the regular price 30 days in advance. If you change your mobile plan, however, you will lose the price you’re paying now, and regular prices will apply.

Sounds like a bug ...nothing you can do on your end. Contact Fizz and let them know.
As for the stabilization period, see what price your plan is costing you in the account details. Either way, Fizz has indicated that they will increase prices to the regular plan prices in early 2020.

I reset phone twice but phone number is same 343-xxxxxx in Android setting part. I can call in/out with new 613xxxxxxx just fine. This is old fizz sim card without activation code on it ( new sim has activation code printed on sim). I guess it's a bug but I don't want pay $10 to buy a new sim.

This happens on Iphones sometimes if you do a network reset. It usually fixes the problem

I'm positive it's related to the old sim card when it's only $2/month for Fizz 4g data. My friend who bought new sim card this year can reuse this sim just fine with correct new number in setting. Mine always showed my old 343-xxxxxxx ( recycled) in phone settings. As long call in/out with new number ok, I will just leave it as is.

That's weird but I have never experienced this.

What phone are you using?

2. Backup your phone. Do a factory reset. Restart your phone.
