Does home internet get activated on day of delivery?
We have Techsavvy and we're gonna cancel and get Fizz. Trying to coordinate cancellation with the delivery date for the Fizz modem. When does the billing date start for internet with Fizz - the day it's delivered? Or can the modem just sit around at home until Techsavvy is cancelled and we can connect it??

The activation is on the delivery, since the tech must test the cable too.
You can overlap the two services.
Be aware, sometime the tech is not able to show up on the appointement and you need to reschedule.
If you need a referral code this is mine K61CD, with this code you will receive 25$ to be applied to your 3rd payment.
It is important to add the referral code must be used during the creation of your plan when the taxes are shown

This is how it worked for me.
Once you order Fizz internet, you'll be charged for the first month.
On the day of the appointment, this is when your subscription starts. The tech will test your cable line and bring the Fizz modem to your home.
Once you have tested your Fizz internet and are satisfied with the results, you can call TekSavvy to cancel. They will cancel your plan with them on the same day. Until you cancel, your TekSavvy modem and internet should still function.
One month after your subscription day, Fizz will charge your credit card for the second month of service.
