It would seem that cannot be done for internet. Interesting that this question came up earlier today as well.
P.S. Ooops ... I was thinking internet. Yes, for mobile you can choose the cheapest plan, which comes up to something like $10. Just choose Quebec region, and everything else OFF. When changing your plan, your risk loosing any pre-Oct 17 pricing you benefited from.12 -
Some people will just pick the cheapest plan available in the meantime in order to keep their number14

Changing to a minimal plan is the only option.
The only point to consider is that when you change plans, you can pick only from the plans and pricing offered at that time.

Be careful if you switch to a cheaper plan. You probably won't be able to return to your original price on your old plan When you get back. Since you're leaving for less than 2 months, It might not be worth it to change plans...7

If you joined Fizz between April 12 and October 16, your price will change in the beginning of 2020 to the regular one. Since you'll be absent for 2 months, even if you keep your current plan, your price will change when you're back. Therefore it's not worth it keeping this plan and it's better to reduce it to minimum (Quebec coverage, no calls, no texts, no data).
If you joined after October 16, you already pay the regular price, so if you modify your plan now and go back to the same plan in two months, you'll have the same price.
It's worth keeping your plan only if you joined before April 12. In that case you have the launch price, which will change to regular price if you modify your plan.7 -
You could modify your plan to make it the cheapest possible, by removing everything in your plan. If you do that, however, you won’t be able to switch it back to the stabilization price7
