How does Fizz charge incoming calls on prepaid voice plan?
From what I can see, it appears that calls that go through to the voicemail are charged.
Rejected calls (either automatically from android os or manually) seem to be charged but not all of them. I can see sporadic charges for 0.12$ here and there.
Is there a clear strategy on how to deal with spam calls for a pay as you go voice plan?
I asked fizz support but it wasn't immediately clear how these calls are invoiced either so perhaps someone with more knowledge on the matter can help. Thanks

It looks like you are being charged when the caller transfers over to voicemail.
Even if they do not leave a message, since the voicemail picked up the call, you are consuming airtime.
One option to avoid these charges would be to disable (cancel) voicemail.

That might indeed explain it. I'll make sure to test this soon.

Very good question. Let us know what ends up happening. It would be a bit steep if they charge for the calls that go to voicemail.
Although most prepaid companies charge a per minute rate when it is you who calls voicemail.6 -
For my personal experience,
I found that even you did not answer the call, it would still charge you...
no matter you have voicemail or not...
I have missed two different calls, but Fizz still charged me for that two calls.
Unbelievable...2 -
