My Sundae and Explorer badges have finally been activated but why doesn't the total number of badges

Also, shouldn't I get more points now that two additional badges are activated?

The badge count and the badges themselves are mostly for decoration. So far to date, the badges do not change your account status. You may have earned some points (50?) for each badge. These points would be applied to your Fizz account, but not necessarily to your community points.
