Keep the service active without paying the full amount?

I will be away for 4 months and was wondering how to minimize the monthly fee. I won't be using the service until I come back, is there anyway to keep my number active without cancelling the service?

Remove all features and keep only Quebec Coverage and that would cost you 10$ (regular price) / month

Unfortunately you need to change your plan to something cheaper and after return to your old plan, but you are going to lose your the price that you’re used to pay

Yah it seems like the only way to minimize the monthly fee would be to change your plan to something cheaper. But you'll end up losing the stabilization price if you do that

Perhaps you can purchase a travel add-on and use your phone while you are away.

Or ask someone to check your calls and messages for you.

you would have to modify your plan by removing all features, such as talk, text, and data. It will take into effect on your next billing cycle.

You can remove all features from your plan, but you'll be paying regular prices soon, as you'll lose your stabilization pricing as a result.
