Can I activate my subscription without a simcard so I get stabilization offer?

Hi guys, small question. my friend is thinking of joining Fizz. My question is, if he orders his SIM card today, do you think it will arrive on time (lives in Laval) to activate his subscription before October 16 to get the stabilization offer? If not, is there any way he could activate his plan without the Simcard (he'll activate it later when it comes) before the deadline?

There is no other way and you have to wait for your SIM. Hopefully you will receive it tomorow.

You need your SIM to have a plan from Fizz. Your plan take effect when you choose it an activate your SIM at the same time.

If you need a referral code in order to have 25$ on your 3rd bill, this is mine OKWPW to use during the plan activation, when you have the total with the taxes.

Okay wait... so it may or may not be possible. Someone I know lives in Laval and they did get their Sim in one day. So it's possible for your friend to get theirs tomorrow,  if ordered today. But I can't guarantee that. Also your friend would need to activate the sim immediately because on Fizz website it says "Your phone number must be activated with Fizz no later than October 15, 2019 to be eligible to the prices currently posted."

I hope your friend receives the SIM card before the end of the stabilization period (in two days yikes)!

 

Online Fizz says that, "you either create your mobile plan at the start of the subscription process, or when you activate your SIM card" (https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-create-my-mobile-plan). I'm not entirely sure if this means he will profit from the stabilization prices or not, but it does seem to indicate that if he does register before getting his SIM, he should be able to get the reduced cost if he can get the card on time since FIZZ's home page does specify the need for the phone itself to be activated with FIZZ.
