Can British numbers be transferred to fizz? Help please!

I am unable to transfer my number over to my fizz sim. When I try and input my British phone number into the online page for transferring your number to fizz it won't accept my number. My phone is unlocked. Can only Quebec/Canadian numbers be transferred to fizz? It doesn't even give me the option to type in my British number (only the (514) format is available)! Please help and thank you in advance

You cannot, only number from quebec province and ottawa area

The areaa code (of the phone number) must be from either Quebec or greater Ottawa area.

Fizz serves subcribers in these areas only, so the number must be from here.

 

Also only mobile numbers can be ported to Fizz atm. No landlines can be ported to Fizz.

I don't think you'll find any cell phone provider in Canada that will let you transfer your UK number.

Hi Celine,
Forget the sim card. The only way you can have your British number working anywhere is to simply transfer (the process is called ''number porting'' your +44xxxxxxxx to another British company providing VOIP services. Your number could then be configured using SIP settings (no sim card needed, just internet connectivity) on any phone or fixed ATA device and will work anywhere in the world since calls/voice is ''channeled'' thru internet.
