You need to request the phone number transfer when you are activating a new Fizz mobile plan.

Unfortunately you cannot transfer a phone number to an existing Fizz plan.

You have to get a new sim for Fizz or whichever other provider you want to transfer to. A SIM card is specific to the provider. After that, you can keep your existing number and just transfer your number to Fizz when you activate your new Fizz SIM card.

YES. Absolutely. You can transfer your number during activation of your new Fizz SIM card as mention above. Usually the transfer will be completed within 2hrs after activation.1
