Videotron Internet Phone stopped working when Internet installed. What do I do?

Is the phone connected to the videotron router? If yes you should contact vidéotron.

Unfortunately Fizz does not offer Internet Phone service.
You will have to contact Videotron for a solution.
They may tell you have to use Videotron internet
or you can opt to port your home phone to any other provider.

the VoIP is probably locked to the IP of the provider.9

Did you have Videotron internet before switching to FIZZ? If so, and you cancelled your plan then the phone line may have been cancelled as well. Worth a call to Videotron to double check9

Was your previous internet provider Videotron?
If you did not already call to cancel, your service with them is still active.
If this is the case, you now have 2 internet lines. Which one to keep...

Have you told Videotron that you'll switch to another internet provider before to install Fizz internet? I'm pretty sure you'll have to be on Videotron internet to use their phone service. I'm not 100% sure about that but I even think it's an obligation from the CRTC like for the IPTV.6

If he didn't touch the videotron modem, i would try to disconnect (remove power cable) the videotron router and reconnect to see if it works before contacting them9
