Can I use fizz in Cuba and how does it work

Here's some good information on prepaid mobile service in Cuba. Doesn't look as cheap as what is available on Fizz. Looking at the add-ons, you can buy 1GB of data for $5 and pay as you go for SMS. No calls on the travel add-on so if that is what you need, Fizz won't be as useful.
If you can't get data to work while traveling abroad, you should contact Fizz when you are on wifi and if you can't get it to work you can ask for a refund.

@Mike: are you saying that Fizz does not work in Cuba? I am travelling there soon and wanted to buy an add-on and/or put money in my wallet...

For my girlfriend it did not work, however I did not check the frequency and the compatibility with her phone
