For internet can I use my own cable modem?

I have my own cable modem use with ebox. If I subscribe with fizz can I continue to use it? I don't want the big bulky wifi thing fizz offers.

No you have to use the Fizz modem, but you can use your own router with it.

I feel your pain, the Fizz modem is so huge and the Wifi is pretty subpar (even after turning off band steering and ATF) so you end up using it as a big dumb modem. It's free so I guess its fine, just sell your ebox modem on Kijiji and use your own Wifi router!

The Fizz modem is the only option atm. Perhaps in the future, Fizz will offer more options.

 

Fizz modem actually takes up less than 5" x 5" of space on your desk or shelf. The extra height allows for the antennas to be "hidden" out-of-sight, inside the modem box.
