If you subscribe today, you will lock in the current price and you will be charged right away for the first month of service. Yes you can set a future installation starting date. Your second payment will be charged one month following your installation starting date.

You should activate sooner rather than later. You will avoid the mad rush of movers end of June / beginning of July. Typically one sixth of residents move or change address each year.

You will be charged for the first month the day you signup. You can set an installation date for the future. The following payments will be taken on the date just before your installation. According to Fizz:
Your first monthly payment will be charged to your credit card the day you subscribe. Your monthly payment cycle, however, will start with the delivery of your Fizz Wi-Fi modem.
Thanks to pre-authorized payments, you’ll always know exactly how much your home Internet plan will cost for the upcoming month. The amount will be automatically billed to your credit card every month, 24 hours before the date that you received your Fizz Wi-Fi modem.
