Will Xiaomi Redmi 6A work with Fizz network for both calls and data?

Yes, that is what I thought, but the Fizz support at Facebook told me that is not.

yes, it's a new gen phone, shouldn't be an issue. The problem is when the phones are older mainly. Just make sure it's unlocked.

You need to have theses frequencies on your phone :
Calls: Your device must support HSPA 850 MHz or 1900 MHz frequencies
Mobile data: Your device must have dual-frequency support for 1700/2100 MHz (also called AWS or band 4)

Fizz support seems correct. Xiaomi phones are usually compatiable with Bell, Rogers and Telus. Not so much with Fizz / Videotron network.
