yes, it's a new gen phone, shouldn't be an issue. The problem is when the phones are older mainly. Just make sure it's unlocked.5

Fizz support seems correct. Xiaomi phones are usually compatiable with Bell, Rogers and Telus. Not so much with Fizz / Videotron network.
