Why aren't plan more detailed?

Why aren't the plans coverages for mobile more detailed.
When choosing my plan I found it impossible to find information on what the coverage did exactly.
Why didn't the Quebec coverage mention that the phone would only make calls to phones in Quebec?
The impression I had was I could only have service in Quebec.
I like the service but a FULL detail document of what the plans do and don't is a must. For example, If no unlimited call can you have minutes?
Better yet a full detailed plan. It doesn't need to be a million pages like the other Mobile services. I like the service.

Just as Videotron, Fizz focus on Quebec (including Ottawa) residents. So Fizz assume you don't care area outside of Quebec and Ottawa.
If you choose Quebec coverage, you can't call any non-Quebec number. You can't call Ottawa (613 or 343 area) code neither.
I was forced to add $2/month to get Canadawide coverage and problem resolved.7 -
I think the confusion arises from the fact that Fizz call it the Quebec plan. Other providers use a term like local calling. Canada plan is pretty clear as is Canada/US plan.6

Great that you like Fizz service!
Agree with you that Fizz can provide more mobile plan details and info.
As we find out more depending on which plan we have, we can still adjust our plan as needed going forward.

The best way to put it.
That would involve too many resources and not fit their cute UI design.
Don't forget, their designated market is a 12-16 yo teen that doesn't care about details, just "how much$"4
