Was this an email you received? What else did they say?

First check that the message is legit.

If you think the email may be fraudulent, do not click on any links from the email.

Logon directly to Fizz website to check your payment methods and update as needed.

Agree with Fizzy, email may not be legit. Log into your account...do not use the link in the email...and see if anything changes with your payment method.

    to whom it may interest
It was by email, not a phishing attempt.
loged on my fizz.ca account (did not follow the email link)
and my billing info were not there...
I'm not the first one, maybe fizz employees got feed up being called
"just a bunch of incompetent snowflakes..."
    Who knows ;)
FYI, for an extra $8/m, will get stability and peace of mine from a carrier that shall remained nameless.
Courage to you all, you'll need it.

Yeah, the email is legit, and he's not the only one that got it. A colleague of mine got it too, he disregarded it at first cause it just screams "phishing scam", but NOPE!

He checked his account afterwards and sure enough they had wiped his credit card information for "security reasons"...

    Were they hacked?

Did someone at Fizz accidentally delete some files?

    Talk about sketchy!

My confidence in their service isn't great at the moment with the 2FA issues and the intermittent cellular connectivity, so this is not helping!

When they mentioned that they we're still in a stabilization period and that we'd be having some "hiccups", I didn't think they meant across the board!

    Seriously!
