Yesterday I got that problem once7

Did you restart the phone? It fixed some issues I had.2

Same here! Intermittent issue, you'll have to learn to live with it, cause you know, it's a work in progress!
People have also been unable to contact me on several occasions, calls going straight to voice mail, despite having decent cellular coverage (downtown MTL) and having my phone on the charger on my desk...
@Zack: Really? That's your answer? Reboot your phone/Airplane mode?
LOL! From now one, every single time I need to make a call, I'll make sure I reboot my phone!
I'll also have to inform my contacts that they'll need to reboot their phones before they attempt to contact me, despite being on different carriers, cause otherwise it'll just to straigh to voice mail.
Before Fizz, I never had to reboot my phone with other carriers (that shall remain nameless) for such issues...
Then again, I didn't have such issues before Fizz...5 -
We are in the stabilization period as defined/announced by Fizz
https://fizz.ca/en/faq-stabilization-period
What can I expect during the stabilization period?
Expect a few technical hiccups. Other outages are also a possibility.
Examples of potential technical issues:
- Interrupted connection for unknown periods of time.
- Intermittent or slow service.
- A few missed texts or dropped calls.
- Connection to the 3G/4G/HSPA+ network rather than the LTE network.
A few known issues currently being worked on:
- Text messages (SMS) sent by certain companies, such as Microsoft and Google to name a few, are not received.
- Certain devices connected to a Wi-Fi network are not able to send or receive multimedia messages (MMS).
- Some services do not work optimally when roaming internationally (outside the U.S.A., varies according to the destination).

I had some similar issues yesterday as well...including calls not going through...hope it doesn't get worse.3

Issues like this aren't uncommon with Fizz, this is the reason why they are offering such cheap rates while they attempt to iron out their issues. There is likely nothing you can really do other than just be patient. Within the next few months they should hopefully resolve these issues or a lot of users will just go to another provider.4
