Are you transferring from an iphone? Is so, you must turn of imessaging on your iphone (Settings/Messages). See https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT2042704

Are you able to make and receive calls? Does your data work? Are you able to send SMS and MMS?
Is this a new plan? Or have you been with Fizz for a while and SMS was working previously?
