Referral program valid?

I asked Fizz about the referral program since I still need to port my wife’s line from Rogers. This is what they told me via Facebook messenger:
You have no reasons to be worried, as you can still use your referral code when you will activate the SIM card of your wife, if you will make the activation before the 12th of April.
We are very sorry, but during the stabilization period which will start on the 12th of April, the referral program will be unavailable.

I read someone saying that she activated 2 sim, one was asking for the referral and the other no.
@Sebastien is supposed to give some feedback today or tomorrow.

Interesting! Good to know! Still waiting for my father to active his account, and I'm working today. So I'll possibly let you know later tonight or tomorrow morning if it worked or not.

Totally different answer from Fizz today:
Indeed the stabilization period starts on April 12th, but the referral program was interrupted on Avril 5th. So sorry for the miscommunication.

Hi everyone, just to let you know, I bought a new SIM card last friday night (my third Sim card, for my daughter) on April 5, received it and activated it last night (April 9).
.
Its confirmed, we definitively can't enter the referral code on sim card activation, referral program is not active now (presumably up to the end of the stabilisation period).
