Have been with Fizz interrnet over 1 month without problems. Lately ,when I arrive home after work, I have to reboot modem or else I have extremely slow speeds. This has occured 2 times over 3 days. Is this a faulty modem or something else. Modem is used in bridge mode and router is not problem.
Thanks for suggestions.

Your modem might be the problem. Did you contact Fizz costumer support yet? If not you should try to reach them and explain your situation.3

Fizz internet is very reliable. I guess your modem could be faulty.4

Hitron modems are usualy reliable. Videotron signals too. But nothing impossible. You are saying your router is not the problem, but did you test with a computer direclty connected to the modem to make sure it's not the router? Then did you performed a reset (not only a reboot) of your modem? No exention or splitter on your coax? If this can't help, communicate with Fizz over the chat.3
