Yes, unless you change your plan5

That’s not what a Fizz chat representative said... Image credit: u/eatmyshorttys (https://reddit.com/u/eatmyshorttys)

The Fizz representative saying means that the introductory price will come to an end for new users but for old user that keep their beta plan, they will keep the same prices until they change their plan.3

I believe that those of us who got in with intro beta prices will get a 30% price reduction for the next three months and then 20% off forever.2

You can find more information, about that on this page https://fizz.ca/en/faq-stabilization-period3

Our price will change to regular price. Bell style0

I believe that we need to wait. And in 3 months we will see. If for any reason Fizz will increase the prices, fido, telus, virgin, etc will be interested to have thousands of people in a couple of days.9

You need to understand that Fizz has competitors on the market and they need to stay competitive as a new player.4

People! What you think is not necessarily the truth. It's written in plain english. Regular prices after that. No reason to believe otherwise.
In addition, I just chatted with a representative and so did soemone else and in one case they said the intro prices will end for everyone and in my conversation they didn't have the information!2 -
Certainly we will keep the intro price for life as long as we don't change the plan. It is written in public in plain English. It is part of contract.4

By then mobile pricing will go down there is a lot of competition out there and prices are going down freedom mobile just announced a plan of 1.5g talk & text unlimited for 24$/month0
-
This is not the right time for prepaid telecom carriers to be raising prices. Freedom Mobile just announced lower priced plans. Lucky Mobile, Chatr and Public Mobile have been lowering their prices as well.
If Fizz discontinues Introductory pricing after the stabilization period, unfortunately there won't be many customers who will stay with Fizz.

What will happen to my price after the stabilization period?
For members who will have subscribed BEFORE April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, your plan will return to its launch (introductory) price. Please note, however, that if you change your plan after the stabilization period, regular prices will apply. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.
For members who subscribe ON, OR AFTER, April 12, 2019.
Once the stabilization period is over, regular prices will come into effect and will therefore apply to your plan. You’ll be happily surprised by these once the stabilization period has come to an end. You will be notified of the end of the stabilization period one month in advance.
