any idea of when toronto is getting coverage?

We do not know. The are still in a launching phase4

Not likely in any near future. They're based on Videotron's network and Videotron is happy to have roaming partners rather than building their own coverage.3

Videotron,the parent company, provides services only in Quebec and the Ottawa area.1 -

unlikely to happen. videotron, the parent company wont invest and expand into another province. their core market is Quebec.
in Ontario they do have telco - unknown in Quebec - such as freedommobile. operating only province-wide. so folks, fizz is set to stay in PQ only.
and honestly, Fizz is by far the cheapest telco operating right now in Canada. you wont get such deals in Ontario,BC, Alberta, NS etc...0 -
It's a low-cost brand of Videotron, cable company for province of Quebec and Ottawa area. So it will probably never will be available for Toronto.0
