How does data work outside of Canada?

I intend to go to Europe soon, and I haven’t switch to Fizz yet so I don’t know the price tag for extra data, but how does it work if I want to call people not with data but with a mobile line, like on the phone?

With Fizz you can only use data in europe.

Hello, you will not be able to use Fizz sim card for calling in Europe. Like the previous poster said, you can only use data and you can check the prices here : https://fizz.ca/en/travel
I've been to Europe and the best way to go at it is to buy a new sim card and get a 10gb + call minutes plan for 7/14/30 days depending on your stay. It usually comes out cheaper, just make sure you have an unlocked phone and check compatibility. Check out Vodafone : https://www.vodafone.co.uk/

If you make some research on the fizz website it will show you for traveling that Voice is not supported for Europe
you'll have t obuy a sim

Since Europe cell carrier costs are a lot less expensive than in Canada, I strongly suggest you buy a local SIM card in the country / countries you are visiting.
