Will two-factor work with less popular websites?

I need to know if two-factor will work with less popular websites ?
I heard that it won't work with some websites that use short codes (whatever that is?)
I must have access to my two-factor if I decide to activate my plan with fizz, it's essential, so is fizz working on this? Will it work in the near future? Does it work now?

Fizz users can receive short code sms from some websites but not all.
.
There is no official list of which works and which does not4 -
Can a FIZZ SUPPORT staff please let me know if this will be supported in the future?
Also this should NOT affect two factor authentication from the apps Such as "AUTHY" or "Google authenticator" is that correct?3 -
If you use authenticator (short code generated from app ) you will not be impacted.5

You would be impacted only when at login you have to enter a short code (4 to 6 digits) that is sent to you by sms ( known as short code sms ).
For some websites Fizz users can not receive them yet. It will be fixed eventually in the future date that's not known yet5 -
No all for sure. So yes Fizz support less 2FA websites than Videotron or other main cell providers. In long term, they'll fix it but not yet.4

Lout of curiosity will Uber and Lyft work then?3

Fizz is actively working on a fix. They're still kinda in the beta phase, give it some time !
Cheers.4 -
This is quite problematic. I couldn't receive short codes from Airbnb which is a well known mainstream company. I hope they fix this as a priority.2
