What does coverage mean?

I find the coverage map a little concerning . I see three colours on the map. Green is my subscription and then there's some red in Canada and US. However there is a lot of Canada that shows grey. Does this mean if I go to northern ontario or alberta I'm not covered? Or does this mean I need to pay additional fees? Perhaps a very clear question. If I get the Canada + US plan, am I good for literally anywhere in North America? Are there any situations where I would need to purchase additional money? Anything I should know that doesn't work? I'm aware of SMS codes not being sent, are there other important things to know?
This whole thing is crazy because switching to fizz will literally save me like $100 a month. I'm trying hard to find loopholes. I work with 500 people and the buzz is starting to spread and people are looking to us (IT) peeps for answers. Any help is appreciated.

There are 3 coverages :
- Quebec : you can use your phone anywhere in Quebec where there is Fizz or Fizz extended network ; you can call any number in Quebec as long as you're physically in Quebec (restriction applied https://fizz.ca/en/faq/partner-networks)
- Canada : you can use your phone anywhere in Canada where there is Fizz or Fizz extended network ; you can call any number in Canada as long as you're physically in Canada (restriction aplied https://fizz.ca/en/faq/partner-networks).
- Canada + US : you can use your phone any where in Canada and US where there is Fizz or Fizz extended network ; you can call any number in Canada + US as long as you're physically in Canada + US ( restriction applied https://fizz.ca/en/faq/partner-networks)

Regarding coverage tool https://fizz.ca/en/coverage
There are mainly 2 colors :
- Green : you can subscribe and of course you can use your phone with Fizz network.
- Pink : you can Not subscribe because Fizz network is not there. However you can use your phone in Fizz partner network ( restriction applied https://fizz.ca/en/faq/partner-networks )
- Other : if it's not green or pink : there is no service at all : you can not use your cell phone with Fizz sim card
.
.
You're not supposed to use Fizz for business or operations related to business3 -
The biggest concern : bugs in billing system when payments are applied : your service may be suspended for 24 hours or sometimes more for no valid reason2
