2FA SMS with Uber, Lyft, Capital One - not working still?

Today I was setting up a new device. Of all the 2FA type things that happened today, most worked, but these three didn't:
- Uber
- Lyft
- Capital One MasterCard
Uber and Lyft if you click on "i'm having trouble" then it'll call you instead, which is fine for now and worked. Capital One, no go... they have no way around sending the SMS and when you even call them, they can't sign you in and said "sorry you need to call your cell provider, our end shows the message is sent, but not delivered". So that's it, for now, I have to not login to Capital One. Can there please be another update on 2FA, and if these three will work at some point in time? It's surprising how long it takes to get these short code SMS all going...

I suggest you start using 2FA with apps like google Authenticator instead it’s much much more secure
But yeah 2FA is not fully working yet by sms5 -
They fixed 2FA for most common sites, but for some others, work is still in progress

I do use Google Authenticator, the point here is that these sites/apps don't let you use that and require 2FA by SMS (or calling in the case of Lyft and Uber). Anyway, just flagging it as "still a problem" and good to hear it's not just me.4
