Do I need to turn on Data Roaming if I have Canada-wide coverage?

I've got a plan with Canada-wide coverage - if I travel outside of the subscription area do I need to have data roaming turned on (using an iphone)? Thx

Yes, you will need to have roaming on so that your phone can connect to Fizz' partner towers.8

Having Canada-wide coverage means you don't have to pay for roaming outside of your coverage area. You would still need to enable the roaming feature itself so you can have access all of Fizz's partners towers.7

Data roaming is off on my phone and I connect to Bell ,Telus , Rogers tower with data without problems.4

Yes any time you're not on Fizz but on Fizz EXT, or in the USA, if you have that in your plan (on T-Mobile or ATT) you need to enable data roaming. What you should remember is that you don't pay for it - if you have no money in your wallet, you can't use data or call, etc., if you don't have the coverage for the area in your plan. Meanwhile if you have coverage for where you are, then it will work while roaming and no extra charges.6
