Is it possible to transfer a land line number to a fizz mobile account?

I am with a company named Comwave and I have a land line with them. I wish to open a fizz mobile account with the same number. Is it possible? I have read in the FAQ that : "Number transfers currently not available
We’re currently unable to transfer land lines and VOIP phone numbers."

i have a solution for you. i just did it myself a week ago. Bell mobile does it. call bell transfer your landline to bell mobile prepaid plan. and once your new sim card with bell is activated with your number ported. you activate your fizz simcard and port that number from bell to fizz. voila you have your number ported.

Yes you can but not directly. Comewave is voip, you need get a sim card from rogers or bell or fido or telus, and port comwave there, and port to fizz from mobile provider. whole process took 1 week or so to port from voip, and 10 minutes from Rogers (or other mobile)
