Is Fizz good at restoring service when it comes to power outages?

Last year, there was a major power outage affecting most of the Ottawa region and a bit of Montreal. I was with Fido before and during that power outage, my phone had poor cell service (due to the lack of a working nearby cell tower) and data, calling and texting worked very rarely. Is Videotron's network reliable when it comes to power outages like Telus?

It's really case by case. Maybe Videotron more reliable this outage, but maybe not next outage.

It depends on the cause of the loss of signal. In the case of the recent power outage in Ottawa - it was due to physical damage to mobile towers and power stations, which of course takes a lot longer to repair.

In my experience it is more reliable. Then again this is a carrier still struggling with allowing 2FA 4+ months after it’s beta launch...
