I think someone somewhere a while ago mentioned PayPal as being on the roadmap. If so, I believe you can then use your checking account via PayPal link.

Up to now credit card only...
Maybe in future they add other options.

If you debit card has Master or Visa logo, you can use it as a credit card. If not, go to your bank and ask them give you one with visa/master logo. It's free.
