Number transfer from Rogers to Fizz CAN'T RECEIVE CALLS, NUMBER INACTIVE

Transferred number from Rogers, account was cancelled and received a sms from Fizz within minutes saying I could fully use the phone number. However, I can't receive calls (SMS and Incoming calls work fine). When trying to reach the phone number, it says the mobile phone number is unattributed (inactive). It's been about 4 hours since activation. I can't reach Fizz to deal with the issue.

Unfortunately, Fizz chat close at 18:00 on weekends.
If you got the confirmation e-mail it means evrything went trough with the porting, some user have reported having to wait a while before their line was fully operational, especially on an heavy load of transaction.
Anyhow, try restarting your phone and verify your APN settings

Hi, if you ported your old number over this process is generally instant (when theres no issues). You can try logging in to your old carrier's account to see the current status.
Once this is done, the activation of your account takes anywhere from 3-6 hours (if not more).
You should try inserting your SIM card into another FIZZ-COMPATIBLE unlocked device to verify your device is running fine.9 -
Be patient. Sometimes full account activation takes awhile. Restart your phone, and if it still isn't working by tomorrow morning, contact Fizz via the chat bubble in the lower right corner on articles in the solution hub.8

Configure apn for android phone, upgrade firmware if iPhone . And do a reboot.5

It can take up to 48 hours to your phone number to be fully transfer.7

If it doesn't work within a day, I would message them using the chat bubble or FB messenger. For myself, my phone(outgoing texts, data, and outgoing calls) started working right away but incoming calls and texts only started working the following day, and I switched from Videotron. When I called Videotron, they told me that the porting request only came in the following day. So if within one day it isn't resolved. I'd message them.4

It's working since yesterday evening. I noticed it could receive calls from certain providers earlier, but wouldn't connect calls from Fizz (strangely). Sorry, I forgot to update this thread immediately.
