Fizz is using data gifts first over data addons. Why?

In my data usage, Fizz is making me use my data gifts first instead of my add on I purchased. Is this normal? In the video, you can clearly see that data is being taken from my gifts instead of my add on first.

I think data received are used first because they can't be rolled over to your next billing cycles.

   Buying an Add-On

   
   

   If I buy an Add-On and don’t use all of it by the end of the month, will it roll over?

   No. Only your basic plan data can be rolled over. If you buy an Add-On, it will expire at the end of your next payment cycle.

   2- Receiving a data gift

   
   

                If I receive a data gift and don’t use all of it by the end of the month, will it roll over?

            No. Only your basic plan data can be rolled over. If you are gifted data during the month, it will expire at the end      of your next payment cycle.

Well then why does it say the expiry date is in 49 days?
