Data gifting to users with no data?

If I only have unlimited calling and texting and applied a data upgrade. Does my plan become a plan with mobile data? Because Fizz allow gifting data to users with mobile data plans and I was wondering if I could receive data gifts.

You have to have data in your plan to receive or send gifts, applying data upgrade won't change that, so that answer is no you can't receive data gifts.
