I can text to it just fine. Don't know call. I guess it's in Gatineau, right?12

According to this thread, https://community.fizz.ca/questions/1843669-873-area-code , 873 is relatively a new area code and treated as long distance. Hope this gets fixed soon.12

819 and 873 are the area for Gatineau-Québec. I have Canada coverage so I should be able to call.11

@Lynn, did it say "this is long distance call" . It's normal, just go ahead, you won't be charged because you have LD plan.11

No it doesn’t. As soon as I dial the number, the line get disconnected. Can’t call or send a txt11

When that call is disconnected have you tried calling a local number to see if it is a problem with your local tower or phone? Just trying to be thorough.8

I can call 819 area without any problem. I only have have issue with the 873.7
