If i activate my sim on my account will the plan start immediately?

Hello, as the title say will my plan start immediately? Can I not just activate my sim in my account and wait before making a plan? thanks

Activating your sim starts your plan. Don't activate the sim until you want to start your plan. Launch pricing has been extended.

If you choose to port your number, it will take a few hours to be active.

There's no deadline for activating your SIM card. The introductory pricing deadline has been extended so you have longer time to choose a plan. You may want to keep your current carrier active if you want to port out your number, and you'll also need your old account number. I heard someone said it could take hours or days to port out.

Pick a plan right when you transfer (port) your number over. It should take a few minutes only - at least that was my experience.
