Gifting data to a non data subscriber ?

I was able to send a data gift to a non data user. In the how to section it says that this cannot be done. Question is can it be done or not , because I was planning to add my daughter as a user since she is with Fido and give her 1gb per month of my data plan.

You cannot gift data to someone with no data in their plan. Sorry. Even if it worked once, don't count on it continuing to work.

Nope, you can't gift data to a user without data plan.

I can confirm I can gift PERK data (100m when I signed up) to someone who doesn't have data just fine. He can use immediately.

@ModemOutlet You can't do that anymore, the minimum you can gift now is 500mb and only between users that have data in their plan.

3 different data things: perk, upgrade and gift.
To someone with no data plan, you can send perk but no gift.
Upgrade, I don't know.

You can send a perk of data to a non data user: I just did.  I succesfully sent a perk of 100 MB of data to a member who does not have a data plan (and therefore can not receive a data gift) but can receive a perk of data.

You can not gift or transfer Upgrades.

Can only send 500MB blocks and the recipient must have a data plan of some sort.
