My billing cycle ends on Dec 23, if I update my plan now and it takes effect on the 24th, do I still keep the pre-launch price?

Yes. And they have removed the Dec 19 deadline date. So not to worry until they pick a new deadline date.

Changes to your plan are effective on the next billing cycle. Let say you activated on November 24. So on December 24 you will be on the new plan. The price you see while doing the change and on the confirmation email is the price you gonna pay.

As long as you make the changes before the end of the introductory date. You will be fine. Like I added 1gb to my plan after realizing that it was a good price and would need it later on and the price that they gave me was the same as the introductory price from when I first started to make my plan even though it would only take effect the 20th of december (my next billing cycle). The date used to be the 19th of december but I guess they moved it back since they realized that they still weren't ready.
