Can I port my old Phone number at a later date?

Is it possible to port my old phone number a month AFTER signing up for Fizz Mobile Service? What I mean is, can I sign up for Fizz, get a NEW phone number, try the service for a month, and if I am satisfied, then replace the NEW FIZZ number, with the number I CURRENTLY have with another provider? (obviously I would port my old number before cancelling with my existing provider).
I just want to be able to try it, before committing to it 100%.
Thanks

You can, but you will need a new SIM, plus if you activate it after December 19, you risk losing out on the launch pricing.16

Yes, if you start with a new phone number, you will need to purchase another SIM card for the porting of your old number. There is an item in the Manage menu to "Change SIM card" which will be activated like the first one, but you port instead of getting a new number.
No need to change your plan so your pricing should stay the same.18 -
No, you will need to buy a new SIM if you would like to port your number over. At least that is how it is done right now. They (might) change it in the future. But whatever you do, make up your mind before december 19th or you will lose introductory pricing.15

It is wiser to try out the service before porting and canceling with your current provider. The price of a new sim is a small price to pay. Like the others said, make the decision by Dec 19 if you want the intro price.14

All above answers are correct! Somewhere(FAQ?), Fizz did mention they will work on porting-in # on existing SIM, won't be soon, nor near future.5

You can unsubscribe your SIM card and reactivate it, then you can see the option to port the old phone number, but you will lose the introduction price.0
