Help!! Why are calls being dropped after 2:56 min?

I'm using a dumb phone on FizzExt and all calls are being dropped after 2. 56 minutes. This is unacceptable!!!

If your connection to FIZZ is 2G only, you'll have this problem. Force your connection to 3g/4g and you can have longer conversation.
2g = GSM only.
In other words, you need get a phone with 3G support at least.

It might be a problem with fizz mobile . My mother is having the same issue . We are still waiting for fizz to fix the problem . I suggest you contact fizz about this issue

Someone mentioned earlier that using old phone does this, using a proper phone where you can set the network connection to 4g will solve the problem.

I don't think it is related to what phone you have. I have LG G7 and it is doing the same on Fizz EXT. Not sure what the issue is but there are many others who experience this issue.

Then this seems to be a fizz ext network issue. As mentioned in the other thread, calls drop on my old flip phone that is on fizz ext but there is no issue when on an iphone on the fizz network. The flip phone isnt able to connect to the fizz network. It keeps trying to connect which is kind of annoying.

Seong, if you're on an LG G7, are you able to manually select Fizz as the network instead of Fizz ext?

T.D - Currently no, because I'm currently outside of the subscription area. But I would be able to connect when in coverage. It works when in normal Fizz network. I'm quite certain this has to do with EXT. Definitely Fizz needs to fix this issue.
