Just tried and mine fails at 2min57sec as well. crap.

1. Things on fizz will not get addressed immediately. You have to go through the avenues of communication provided. Namely, facebook chat between business hours.
2. I don't call people more for more than 2 min and 57 seconds. You should be happy to be able to call that long for the price that you are paying. Use whatsapp or viber or some other voip app.
3. I'm kidding about point 2. But not about point 1.

I had this issue with my sim in an old flip phone on the Fizz ext network. Call dropped exactly at 2min and 57 sec. With my iphone 5s on the normal Fizz network it was fine.

I think this is happening to those calling on roaming. Happens to me too right now.

Force your sim to 3g only, no 2G
