Can anyone tell me the cost to have voicemail on your account? It says it is an add on. I just ordered my SIM but didn't put that on. I am not sure what the cost is but realize I will need it.

1$ as for now14

The cost is $1/month. Since you haven't activated your SIM yet, you can still change your plan. You won't have to wait for a month for the plan to be changed.14

Hi, the voicemail addition is currently ONE dollar!13

It is one dollar for now. Even if you did not add it to your current plan, you can choose to add it by updating your plan and clicking onto the "voicemail" option which should also change your monthly billing price.11

What happens when we don't have vm? The phone just keeps ringing?11

Thanks! I will look to add it in once I activate. I don't seem to have that option right now since I don't yet have the SIM.
And no idea what happens if I don't have it. I will need to have it so will look at adding it now for the $1. Did read I could hopefully get it as a reward later but it seemed iffy on if that was permanent or not and not clear.11 -
I would assume if you did not have voicemail, your phone will continue to ring or eventually give a busy signal.
The Level 3 voicemail upgrade that you are hearing about would be valid for 2 years according to:

Agree with @Kent T. that phone should continue to ring and eventually stop.
Fizz FAQ states UPGRADE is for 24 months. However, specifically to the Voice Mail for Level 3 (require 4500 points), someone got info that it is only for 1 month: https://community.fizz.ca/questions/1826956-rewards-rewards
I tend to believe the 24 months, as upgrades are not that easy to get.

If you disable forwarding to voicemail it will ring about 8 or 9 times and then stop. I would assume the same happens if you don't sign up for voicemail in the first place. (I discovered the above by accident when trying out call forwarding; of course the FAQs said it was impossible).3
