“Your phone number cannot be transferred” but can call and text. Did this happen to anyone else?

Anybody else received a “Your phone number cannot be transferred“ but could receive calls and text on that line? I checked my account on my old providers website and my phone line is gone so I guess they processed the request on their side. Did this happen to anybody else? Did it get resolved in the end?
I’ve had this phone number all my life. I’m really hoping I don’t lose it just cause I wanted to save a couple bucks!

Yes, a lot of people have reported getting this email even after an obviously fully successful account transfer. Another, minor, bug I guess.

As far as I know yes. I was just waiting for them to contact me about. Thanks for letting me know. That’s reassuring!
