Howcome I'm not getting incoming text messages?

My outgoing text messages are being received but I'm not receiving incoming text messages
I'm using a Oneplus 6

Try this...it might help.
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile networks > Network operators > Search networks
Choose Fizz EXT
I chose the first one Fizz EXT RAT:LTE
Wait a couple of minutes
Go to Settings > Network & internet > Mobile networks > Network operators > Select automatically
This unlocked all the old texts for me and allowed receiving of texts and calls again.

Incoming texts were broken for a few days. Opened a ticket this morning and automagically it started working again this evening. Checked all settings (correct) and manually selecting Fizz EXT but none of these made a difference. They fixed something in the network.

I tested by sending a text from my partner's phone and it seems to be arriving fine. Not sure if I could say for sure if every text that was sent to me was received by me.
